π’πžπ©π­πžπ¦π›πžπ« 𝟐𝟏, πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ‘: In support of peaceful and safe Barangay and SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) elections scheduled for October 30, 2023, a series of significant events were organized by the Philippine National Police-Regional Office 2 in coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). These events aimed to promote unity and commitment to ensuring a peaceful electoral process.

The day kicked off with a symbolic Unity Walk, depicting the community’s collaborative spirit. Participants walked from the Municipal Hall to the Municipal Gymnasium, where the heart of the day’s activities took place.The atmosphere was infused with purpose as participants engaged in an interfaith rally, a candidate forum, and a significant Peace Covenant signing.

During the proceedings, PMAJ Mario A. Maraggun, COP, acknowledged all participants and expressed appreciation for their presence and devotion to the cause.

Municipal Vice Mayor Fredelino D. Agpuldo took the chance to deliver a powerful message, stressing the importance of unified leadership, unity, and cooperation. His statements struck a chord with the audience, underscoring the critical role of civic engagement in the pursuit of progress.

COMELEC Officer, Ms. Junabel T. Deuz, also expressed her thoughts and insights in a heartfelt message. Her words asserted the commitment of the electoral commission to uphold the integrity of the election process.

Mr. Glenn Bryan P. Molina, Election Officer II, played a pivotal role by administering the Integrity Pledge. The ceremonial signing that followed was a tangible demonstration of the candidates’ dedication to these principles.

The event was honored by the presence of Sir Vicente L. Calimag, Jr., MLGOO, along with Honorable SB members Jojie Calasag, Edson Paul D. Flores, and Joshua Jesus L. Salmon. Also present were Ms. Trisha Ann Trinidad, BIR Officer, and Sir Philip Carlo Martinez Jr., Ptr. Leonardo M. Ubaldo, Ptr.. Erwin Gawayon and personnel of MBLT-8.
